Inner Door Chrome Moulding With Seal – Non Handed

Description

This is the 1/2″ tall thinner type fitted to wind up window cars from 1970 on.

The original 1″ taller type had the felt draught excluder stapled on but when rusty they would scratch the door glass so it was replaced on the assembly line by the later rubber moulded version type without staples.

The felt replacement for the original moulding is used on some old classics and maybe still available from classic trim people if you want to try and keep your classic mini true but our supplier has discontinued the part through lack of sales.

Important fitting note:
Where described, all parts are labelled by nearside/offside or left and right. This is always identified from a right hand drive (UK) vehicle, or if you were looking at the car from the back facing forward.
