When you change the length of the lower control arm to attain the desired degree of camber, the caster also changes. to reset it you must be able to change the length of the tie-rods. remember that in addition to controlling caster, these tie rods also control stability under braking.
A commonly changed item due to the abuse they get from pot holes and driving up curbs.
Important fitting note:
Where described, all parts are labelled by nearside/offside or left and right. This is always identified from a right hand drive (UK) vehicle, or if you were looking at the car from the back facing forward.
