Description
One gaiter, 2 plastic clips and grease. the single largest reason for the failure of this rugged assembly is contamination. dirt and moisture will destroy one very quickly… and is also an mot failure.
The cv rubber boot protects the joint at all angles but if your boot shows any sign of cracking or scuffing preventative replacement can save a lot of money. this type is made to fit either type of cv joint and sold as a kit per hub. 2 required per car.

Where described, all parts are labelled by nearside/offside or left and right. This is always identified from a right hand drive (UK) vehicle, or if you were looking at the car from the back facing forward.
